In just a few short months, female Bass DJ/Producer, Kristine Urban, aka urBn:LgNd, has emerged atop S0-Cal’s underground electronic music scene. The Kansas-raised, bass-junkie was classically-trained on piano and voice since a young age, but told not to pursue a career in music, even though she had an impeccable ear for music. Like most musicians at heart, she was told it was just a time-wasting hobby for the lost. Following her inner passion and need to inspire others, she stood her ground against her conservative upbringing and challenged herself to become a free-thinker and follow her heart. So, in typical future-star fashion, she packed her Ford Tempo and drove to California to answer her inner calling.

‘Moth Wings’ is the second single from Pond‘s fourth record ‘Beard Wives Denim’. The entire album was recorded over two weeks in a ramshackle farmhouse in Western Australia; ‘Moth Wings’ is said to have, quite literally, broken the bands ‘mid-recording cabin fever’, and it’s easy to see why.
