Thought you could only find the euphoric synthpop of Cut Copy or Empire Of The Sun in Australia or the UK?  Think again.  Hyena explode onto the San Diego scene, a full-fledged Electronica behemoth.  If the four tunes that soundtrack http://www.wearehyena.com are anything to go by, duo Coop and Strat are only stopping to grab a quick breath of SD air before resuming global domination.

Driving bass melodies and thundering drum beats give way to euphoric sections of atmospheric Post Rock.  Half the tunes have more of an Electronic backbone and others are driven by guitars and fast-pace Post Punk rhythms.  The more you decode their complex patterns and ideas the more you will end up saying ‘Hell Yeah!’
