Craig McKean (Drums, Vocals)
Jamie King (Bass, Vocals)
(Fighting With Wire live)
Hailing from Derry, Ireland these three rockers are onto something big, combining elements of epic bands like RATM and Nirvana, they’ve created something powerful and unique. Cahir has strained, longing rocker vocals that might sit somewhere between Dave Grohl and Kurt Cobain. Each track on their debut Man Vs. Monster has blistering riffage and thundering beats blended to form tight rockin’ tracks.
‘Strength In Numbers’ opens with a solid grinding riff before pulling back and revealing fabulous vocal melodies.
‘Into The Ground’ has melodic guitar parts bleeding with optimism, Biffy Clyro would appreciate the dichotomy between power and subtlety in their sound.
Man Vs. Monster is a solid, rockin’ hootenanny all the way through.
Cool like: Nirvana, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Lostprophets, At The Drive In, Weezer, Fugazi, Rage Against The Machine, Funeral For A Friend, Jew, Soundgarden, Therapy, Ash
